Who says jewelry making has to be complicated? As much as I love perusing through the bins at local bead shops, sometimes I’m short on time. Recently, I had a yearning to make a chunky, vintage-style bracelet but wasn’t close to any specialty bead stores. So Michael’s it was. I selected a few strands of beads in some vintage colors, including some sweet robin’s egg blue rose-bud beads. Strung on an elastic band, the bracelet doubles easily around the wrist.
Quick. Easy. Whimsical. That’s my idea of an easy DIY project.
