It’s been a while since I’ve posted any personal care product reviews in my Green Beauty series, but I assure you I am always on the look-out for great products that are safe and chemical free. I’ve currently settled into a daily skin care regimen that I’m completely happy with, so I want to pass it along.

Acure facial cleansing creme (argan oil + mint) – This product is for normal to dry skin, and it is definitely not drying at all to my skin. It has a bit of a minty feel.
Acure day cream (with gotu kola extract + chlorella) – This moisturizer is not too heavy for use under a foundation but it still nourishes dry skin thoroughly. My flaky skin began to heal soon after using this product.
Acure sensitive facial cream (with argan oil + sunflower amino acids) – I can’t say enough good things about this moisturizer. It is a bit heavier than the day cream, so I use it each night.
Acure Simply Soothing shampoo (coconut & marula) – Unlike many natural shampoos, this one has lots of suds, yet it is gentle. In fact, I use it daily.
Acure Simply Soothing conditioner (coconut & marula) – I also like this conditioner immensely, as it is light enough to use daily.
Aveeno moisturizing bar – Great for daily use; it isn’t drying at all.
Aveeno moisturizing lotion – This body lotion is my all time favorite!
Now here’s the exciting part about all these products:
- EWG rating of 2 or less
- Sold in many stores, including Target, drugstores & more
- Gentle yet effective!
