natural easter decor

Sure, you can fill your home with ceramic bunnies and plastic eggs, but with such lovely natural Easter decor made from sweet earthy components, why would you? In recent years, I’ve found that using simple, natural decor helps me celebrate the season more than commercialize it. Oh, the bunny still visits – he just delivers his goodies in upcycled newspaper baskets without the neon cellophane. Here are a few of my favorite Easter decorations. They’re lovely to view and easy to make!

1 – paaskrans

This wreath, inspired by German and Dutch traditions, is placed on a tabletop with a lovely vase of flowers in its center. Start with a grapevine wreath form, then add broken egg shells, moss, feathers and flowers. See the full tutorial here

2 – paper dahlia wreath

My tutorial shows you just how to assemble this sweet dahlia wreath made from cardstock paper and book pages. Of course, a few broken eggshells in its center symbolize rebirth and resurrection. My favorite.

3 – book page bunnies

Inspired by this tutorial from Pillar Box Blue, I made these little bunnies from pages torn from a book. And yes, they do have a surprise inside!

4 – egg carton easter display

How can you not fall in love with these? Start saving egg cartons now, and follow this tutorial to turn them into something breathtaking.

5 – chocolate covered strawberries

Yummy chocolate covered strawberries, yes, but served by a bunny that has quite the story to tell! Check it out here – Faux Chocolate Bunny & Female Empowerment.

These are a few ideas to get your inspired. Fill you house with natural Easter decor this season and your home with blessings.
